Hey everyone,
I keep getting asked why I’m going to such lengths to fight these issues with OGame and Gameforge, and I get it – from the outside, it might seem like a lot. So, I thought I’d lay out my reasons and give some clarity.
1. Fairness Matters
When you put time, effort, and money into something, you expect a certain level of fairness. I’m not asking for special treatment – just transparency and a clear explanation for decisions that directly affect my account. If something’s not right, I believe it should be questioned, and if companies make mistakes, they should own up to them.
2. Transparency Is Key
In today’s world, transparency is everything. If an account gets banned or restricted, players deserve to know why and what evidence is being used. This is not just about me – it’s about making sure players understand how decisions are made and have a fair chance to address them. It’s frustrating when you’re left in the dark.
3. It’s Not Just About Me
I’ve heard from a lot of players who’ve faced similar issues. It feels like we’re being told to accept things without question, and that doesn’t sit right with me. By pushing for answers, I’m hoping to improve things not just for myself but for the whole community. Maybe this effort will bring about some positive changes that’ll benefit all players.
4. Consumer Rights Are Important
At the end of the day, we’re customers. We’re paying for a service, and with that comes certain rights. Whether it’s in-game purchases or just access to the service, if things go wrong, we have the right to challenge those decisions. I’m going through these lengths to make sure that our rights as consumers are respected. (Yes, ofcourse, free to play exists – but lets not make this complicated)
5. I Believe in Holding Companies Accountable
I’m not saying Gameforge is a terrible company – but when companies mess up, they should be held accountable. By pressing for answers, I’m hoping they’ll realize the importance of keeping things transparent and fair. If no one pushes back, nothing changes, and I think it’s time for change.
So yeah, that’s why I’m still here, still asking questions, and still pushing for answers. It’s not just about getting my account back – it’s about making sure everyone gets treated fairly and with respect.
Thanks for understanding, and if you’ve had similar experiences, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts!
Cheers,
Jillian -
